Location: St. John Community Services (SJCS) – DC and Northern VA


Position Summary:

St. John Community Services (SJCS) is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee our DMV locations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of property management. The primary focus of this role is to manage all SJCS properties, schedule maintenance, monitor moving violations, and implement quality assurance plans for environmental and property management.


Key Responsibilities
:

1. Manage all SJCS properties across DMV locations, including scheduling necessary maintenance appointments, both routine and as needed.

2. Monitor and reconcile all licensing violations related to SJCS properties, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.

3. Receive and review monthly QA Environmental Checklist and monthly Emergency Drill Reports, taking necessary actions to address any issues.

4. Develop and maintain relationships with leasing offices, property management companies, and other landlords for SJCS properties, fostering positive partnerships.

5. Maintain annual leases and documentation of residency for SJCS properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

6. Assist in the payment of property-related expenses and entities as needed, maintaining financial records and ensuring timely payments.

7. Implement SJCS Quality Assurance plan for environmental and property management, including conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in property management, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to property management in the DMV area.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including tenants, landlords, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
